A business line for golf courses

The pro shop phone. Ringing across the property.

Add the app to the phones your staff already carry. The shop, the grill and the events desk each ring their own people.

7-day free trial, no credit card. $5 a person a month after that.

What you get with every account

7-day free trial

Try everything, pay for what you keep. No credit card to start.

Number in under a minute

It's provisioned while you're still reading the screen. Then add the app and take calls.

No contracts

Month to month. No term, no auto-renew, no cancellation fee.

No setup fees

No activation charge, nothing to buy. The number you see is the number you pay.

What you get

Everything a course phone should do. Nothing your staff has to manage.

The number belongs to the course

Seasonal staff turn over every year. The line, the greeting and the voicemail stay with the club instead of leaving in a summer hire's pocket.

Live before the season starts

Your number works the moment you finish the form. Installing the app and signing in is the rest of the two minutes. No install date, no site visit, no IT project.

Rings the shop, the grill and the events desk

Put people in departments and every phone in that department rings at once. Whoever is free picks up, so fewer tee time calls end in voicemail.

Voicemail you can read between groups

Messages arrive as text in an email: who called, when, and what they wanted. Read them between groups instead of standing at the counter with a handset to your ear.

Calls you can keep

Record from the app on any plan. On Pro, keep recordings in the cloud where the club can get to them, not on one employee's phone.

Answers before dawn and after the last group

A greeting picks up when nobody can and points callers to the shop, the restaurant or the events desk. No answering service, no stranger between your members and your course.

Why we built it

The shop phone rings while everyone is outside. That is the whole problem.

A golf course is the least deskbound business there is. The counter is empty because the person who works it is out on the range, in the cart barn, or walking a group to the first tee. The phone on that counter rings anyway, and the caller wants a tee time, a lesson, or the Saturday outing.

The counter is empty. The call still has to be answered.

The usual fixes each cost you something. An answering service puts a stranger between your members and your course. Staff mobiles work until the season ends, and then the number your regulars have been calling for three years leaves with a summer hire.

Slingshot is the third option. The line belongs to the club, it rings every phone that can answer it, and anything nobody catches arrives as an email you can read between groups. No hardware in the shop, no contract, and nothing for your staff to learn beyond an app on the phone they already have.

Slingshot is built and run by dgNetrix Communications, a phone company since 2006, by people who have been in telecom since 1998. We know what the contract, the install and the paperwork cost, which is how we know none of it needs to be in your way.

Questions

The things people ask before they sign up.

Does this work when staff are out on the property?

Yes, that is the point. The app runs on the phone in their pocket, so the shop line rings wherever they are: the range, the cart barn, the tenth tee. They answer as the course, and the caller sees the course's number rather than a personal one.

Anyone off shift or out of signal simply doesn't ring. The greeting and the voicemail catch whatever nobody picks up.

Do we need anything installed in the pro shop?

No. There is no box, no wiring and no site visit. If you want a handset on the counter, Pro works with standard SIP desk phones, including ones the club already owns.

Most courses start with the app on the phones staff already carry, and add a desk phone later or never.

Can it book tee times or answer calls for us?

No, and we would rather say that plainly. Slingshot rings your people, routes callers with a greeting, and turns anything nobody catches into an email you can read. It does not talk to your tee sheet and it does not answer on your behalf.

If someone tells you their phone system books rounds automatically, ask to watch it do that on your own tee sheet before you sign anything.

Do I need to buy any hardware?

No. Slingshot runs on the phone already in your pocket. Install the app, scan a code, take calls.

If you want something on a desk, Pro works with any SIP-enabled device, including the ones you already own. Desk phones, conference units, door entry intercoms: if it speaks SIP, it connects.

What's actually in the free trial?

Seven days with the full Pro feature set and no credit card. It's a real working business number that rings, not a demo environment.

Three things wait until you activate: adding extra numbers, transferring a number in, and outbound calling past 100 minutes. Everything else is switched on.

How do I know which plan I'll end up on?

You don't choose one up front, and you can't get it wrong. As you set things up, the panel shows what your bill would be at today's setup. If you switch on something that moves you to Pro, it tells you at that moment, names the price, and lets you undo it.

You land on the plan that matches what you actually built.

Can more than one person answer the same number?

Yes. Put people into a department, sales or service or the front desk, and every phone in it rings at the same time. Whoever is free picks up.

Starter includes two departments. Pro has no limit.

Can I bring my existing number?

Yes, and it's free on every plan. You sign the transfer authorisation on screen, we file it with your current provider, and we show you the date they give us rather than leaving you guessing.

You can set up where the number rings before it even arrives, so the day it moves across nothing changes for the people calling you.

Don't cancel your current service first. Cancelling releases the number back to your provider, and once that happens it may be gone for good. Keep the line active until the transfer completes.
Can I text from my business line?

Not yet. Texting is in build and will arrive on Pro, and we'll publish the details the day it ships rather than before.

Carriers require every business number to be registered before it can send a message, which is the step we're working through now. We'd rather tell you that than put a date on someone else's approval.

Will you connect to the software we already use?

Yes. The platform is API-driven, so the connections are possible to build, and we work through them in the order customers ask for them.

Tell us what you run, whether that's HubSpot, Salesforce, a booking system or something we've never heard of. Nothing is connected today, so you'll get a straight answer on where yours sits instead of a maybe.

We run more than one business. Can they share an account?

Yes, and many of the companies we run do exactly that. Each business gets its own number, answering with its own greeting, on one account. The people underneath are shared, so someone who works across two brands has one extension and one app rather than two.

That needs Pro, because it needs more than one business number. Plenty of companies start with everything on one number and split the brands out later.

Can the greeting answer in another language?

Yes. Record the greeting in whatever language you need and upload it, and the generator can produce a French Canadian voice if you would rather not record one.

Offering callers a choice of language needs Pro. Press one for English, two for the other sends each caller to their own set of options, and a menu that opens another menu is a Pro feature.

What happens when someone leaves the company?

Nothing you have to worry about, which is the whole point. The line belongs to the business. Remove that person and their access goes with them, while the number, the greeting and the voicemail stay exactly where they are.

Compare that to a business running on personal mobiles, where the number leaves in somebody's pocket along with the customers who call it.

When do I actually get charged?

Not until you activate. The trial takes no card at all. When you activate we charge the first month, and that date becomes your renewal date every month after.

No setup fee, no minimum, no annual commitment.

How do I cancel?

Tell us and we close the account. There's no notice period, no retention call, and no early-termination fee, because there's no term to terminate.

Month to month means we have to earn the next month. That's the deal.

Can I take my number with me if I leave?

Yes. It's your number, not ours. Ask and we release it to whoever you're moving to.

A business line you can't leave with isn't really yours, and we'd rather say that plainly than bury it.

Early access is open.

A real business number, on the phone already in your pocket, in the next few minutes.
