Understanding your numbers page
Numbers lists every number on your account. Only owners and admins can see it.
Each number shows a state:
| State | What it means |
|---|---|
| Live | Working normally. |
| Using main line | New number, no destination chosen yet. It rings wherever your main line rings. Not a problem, but worth setting. |
| Needs setup | No destination set. Choose Fix this, or see Setting where a number rings. |
| Provisioning | Just ordered. Takes seconds to a minute. |
| With carrier | Transfer submitted, no date yet. Nothing for you to do. |
| Transfers Sep 9 | Transfer has a confirmed date. |
| Action needed | Your transfer needs something from you. See My transfer says "Action needed". |
For each number you can set where it rings, rename it, set its 911 address, set the caller ID name, and remove it.
